ABOUT THE FIELD ACTIVITY PROGRAM (FAP)

 

One of the most unique aspects of the GCA educational program is the field activity program. These weekly field experiences enhance the instructional program while providing safe, supervised, and physical activities. 

 

The Purpose of the Field Activity Program is to provide safe, organized, interacive, experiential learning oportunities that: instill self confidence; foster positive team interaction; encourage responsible behavior; offer physical challenges; and provide support activities for the core academic program. Field experiences may consist of combinations of events on any given program day. The lists below are meant to be a represenative sample of the age-appropriate activities GCA students can look foward to. This list is by no means comprehensive.
