Open to students entering 4th-8th grade

Location: GCA (middle school campus), 2139 Deborah Drive
 
Performance for Friends and Family: GCA Theatre, 5 pm on June 27 (last day of camp)
 
Students must wear: clothes comfortable for movement and painting, etc., athletic shoes, hair secured away from face
 
Students must bring: lunch, a water bottle, and a snack each day.
 
Students will need by week two: SOLID CONVERSE OR KEDS-STYLE TENNIS SHOES, SOLID leggings or jeans, SOLID orange, blue, or white t shirt

OVERVIEW, Week One (June 16-20)
 
Day One: Read-thru, auditions, casting, set design, supply requests, drama games, sing-along
 
Days Two-Four: Read-thru, choreography, blocking, set construction, drama games
 
Day Five: Morning- costume closet, lunchtime field trip, afternoon-REHEARSAL
 
OVERVIEW, Week Two (June 23-27)
 
Day Six: Morning rehearsal, afternoon tech (Lights and mics!)
 
Day Seven: Blocking and choreography, sets and props, drama games; TICKET ORDER FORM DUE (there is no charge for tickets)
 
Day Eight: Finish all blocking and choreography, DRESS REHEARSAL
 
Day Nine: Dress rehearsal, scene work, drama games
 
Day Ten: Technical rehearsal, CAST PARTY lunch, get ready, dress rehearsal, 4:30-doors open; 5:00-PERFORMANCE!
