Sixth graders Joy A. and Tara W., part of the Marlins team, recently visited the Crystal Springs Preserve as part of an interdisciplinary unit between Science and the Field Activity Program. The students collected water samples from the river and studied the micro-organisms present in Florida’s waters. This experience brought their Science class Biology studies to life under the microscope and in the field.
